Beyond Adventures did a fantastic job making everything come together for our group. Many thanks to Drew Voyles and his crew for all the preparation and work behind the scenes to make our Camino walk a wonderful experience. Steve Allen and our local guide Manuel when above and beyond to make sure all the little pieces fell into place and we had a trip to remember. Would highly recommend Beyond Adventures to anyone considering the Camino (or Peru or Tanzania or Egypt or Greece or anywhere else they go). Many Thanks, Bruce & Jan Bryant

We had a great week on our Camino trek from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. Our leader Steve and our guide Manuel did a great job of preparing us for the various hikes we did each day. Our tour group was extremely cohesive and friendly. It is a rigorous trek (about 75 miles) over six days so you need to train for it ahead of time. The scenery is beautiful along the way. We were very glad to have walked it.

Wonderful spiritual, historic and social experience. Great guide (Manuel), leader (Reverend Steve Allen), and trip coordination by Beyond Adventures. My only criticism would be that a few of the hotels we stayed in along the Camino were not up to snuff. But I guess they could have been the best ones those particular towns had to offer.

This was the trip of a lifetime. It began with an introduction to Lima, its beauty and culinary superiority. I was transported and more than pleasantly surprised with the beauty that Peru offers. Each city (Lima, Cusco, Ollantaytambo, Aqua de Calientes) we visited was more charming than the next. The people, the culture, the food, and the goods were beyond anything I had imagined. Accommodations are 5-star, in the most beautiful and comfortable hotels. The trek was a feat of mental strength made easier by the support of wonderful guides and good friends. And the gem was Machu Picchu, the splendor of which cannot be captured in photos. It takes one’s breath away. If you have the opportunity to experience a trip with Beyond, I wouldn’t pass it up. Memories and friendships of a lifetime made against a beautiful backdrop.
